A natural, defined eyelid fold — created in a 30-minute procedure under local anaesthesia. No general anaesthesia. Back home in 5 days.
People from Northeast India — Assam, Manipur, Nagaland, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Arunachal Pradesh — often have the single-eyelid anatomy. Dr. Ankit Gupta's approach creates a natural crease suited to your features — never overdone, never Westernised.
What the surgery does
No visible crease. Common in NE Indian anatomy. Heavier, flatter appearance.
A defined crease creates a more open, bright, expressive eye appearance.
For Northeast India
The anatomy of Northeast Indian eyelids is distinct — and requires a surgeon who understands this specificity.
Absence of an eyelid crease is very common among people from Northeast India — Assam, Manipur, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, and Tripura. This is part of the Mongoloid facial heritage shared across East and Southeast Asia.
Many people from the Northeast desire a defined eyelid fold — for more expressive eyes, easier makeup application, and a more open appearance.
Patients from across Northeast India travel to Delhi for this surgery regularly. The procedure takes 30 minutes. Most patients stay 4–5 days and return home comfortably.

Technique options
The right technique depends on your eyelid anatomy. Dr. Ankit recommends the best approach at your consultation.
An incision is made along the planned crease line. Excess skin, fat, and muscle are removed as needed, and sutures create a permanent fold. Most reliable, longest-lasting result.
A shorter incision accesses and removes excess fat. Less invasive than full incision, more reliable than suture-only. A good middle-ground for select cases.
Tiny punctures and sutures create the crease without any incision. Fastest recovery. Not recommended when there is excess skin or fat, as the crease may not hold long-term.
For most Northeast Indian patients with typical single-eyelid anatomy, the full incisional method provides the most natural, permanent, and reliable outcome.

Especially for patients travelling from Northeast India.
Asian blepharoplasty, also called double eyelid surgery, is a procedure that creates a defined upper-eyelid crease in people who have a single eyelid (monolid). At Panache Aesthetics in Delhi, Dr. Ankit Gupta designs the crease to suit your individual facial proportions for a natural, undetectable result.
Yes. The crease is designed for your facial proportions. Northeast Indian eyelids have distinct anatomy — the crease height and design are tailored accordingly. The goal is always enhancement that no one can detect — never a Westernised look.
The cost of Asian blepharoplasty in Delhi depends on the technique chosen (suture, partial-incision, or full-incision) and whether one or both eyelids are treated. Dr. Ankit Gupta provides a clear, personalised cost estimate during your in-person or online consultation, with no hidden charges.
Yes. Dr. Ankit offers video consultations for out-of-city patients. Share photos, discuss goals, and get a technique recommendation and cost estimate before booking your trip from Guwahati, Imphal, or anywhere in Northeast India.
Most Northeast patients stay 5–6 days. Surgery is on Day 2, follow-up on Day 4, and most patients fly home on Day 5. The procedure is quick and recovery is straightforward — no extended stay needed.
No. Asian blepharoplasty is performed entirely under local anaesthesia. You are awake but completely comfortable with no pain. This means faster recovery, greater safety, and same-day discharge.
The incisional technique produces permanent results. Once the crease is created surgically it remains for life, unlike the suture-only method which can fade over time. For most Northeast Indian patients, the full-incision method gives the most reliable, permanent outcome.
Yes — Asian blepharoplasty is commonly combined with lower-lid surgery, ptosis correction, or epicanthoplasty in the same sitting. Dr. Ankit will assess what is appropriate for your anatomy during your consultation.
