Blepharoplasty surgery in Delhi is done for many reasons, however, in our practice it is mostly done for cosmetic improvement of the eye area of face.
With normal ageing process, the skin and muscles lose strength over time. The skin is thinnest around the eyes, and hence, is the first to show these signs. This excess skin in eyelids results in increased creases around the eyes, and also droopy eyelids. In such cases, we perform eyelid lift surgery. Also, as the muscle starts to lose strength, it is unable to hold the fat in place. This fat, in turn, starts to collect under the eyes causing UNDER EYE BAGS or Puffy eyes. The procedure to remove these is called Lower Blepharoplasty, Eyebag surgery, under eye surgery or lower eyelid surgery.
Blepharoplasty is done to improve the look of the eyes in all of these cases. In case of droopy eyelids, excessive skin is removed, and for under eye bags, the fat deposits are removed. There is no visible scar (Click here to view the scar), as the incision is given at the lashline. Also, if needed, excessive skin can be removed. It is also done for double eyelid creation or Asian Blepharoplasty.

Is Blepharoplasty truly scarless?
Blepharoplasty is not exactly scarless, but the scars are almost invisible. In lower lid blepharoplasty, the incision is placed inside the lower eyelid, and hence there is absolutely no scar on the outside. In upper eyelid blepharoplasty, the incision is placed on the natural fold of the upper eyelid. This, after healing, shrinks to such a thin line, which coincides completely with your natural fold, that it is technically invisible. You can see how the scar will look like post-surgery:
