What Are Dermal Fillers?
Dermal fillers are gel-based injectables — primarily made from hyaluronic acid, a substance naturally found in your skin — that restore lost volume, smooth wrinkles, and enhance facial contours. Unlike B-otox, which relaxes muscles, fillers physically add volume beneath the skin's surface. At Panache, Dr. Ankit Gupta uses premium, FDA-approved fillers placed with surgical precision to achieve results that look and feel completely natural.
Hyaluronic acid fillers are reversible — if you're ever unhappy with your results, the filler can be safely dissolved using an enzyme called hyaluronidase.
Treatment Areas
One of the greatest strengths of dermal fillers is their versatility. Each area of the face requires a different filler consistency, depth, and technique — which is why choosing a surgeon with deep anatomical knowledge matters.
- Cheeks — restores youthful volume and creates a lifted, sculpted appearance
- Nasolabial folds — softens the deep creases running from nose to mouth
- Marionette lines — reduces the lines from mouth corners to the jawline
- Lips — adds fullness, defines the border, and balances asymmetry
- Under-eyes (tear troughs) — reduces hollowness and dark circles
- Jawline — sharpens definition and improves facial proportions
- Chin — projects and balances the profile
- Temples — restores volume lost with aging for a smoother forehead transition
- Hands — smooths crepey skin and restores a youthful appearance
Types of Fillers We Use
Not all fillers are the same. At Panache, we select from a range of premium products based on your specific needs — each formulated with a different particle size, density, and injection depth for optimal results in the target area.
- Hyaluronic Acid (HA) fillers — the gold standard for most facial areas. Premium, FDA-approved formulations used exclusively. Results last 8–18 months and are fully reversible.
- Calcium Hydroxylapatite fillers — a thicker, collagen-stimulating filler ideal for deep folds and jawline contouring. Lasts 12–18 months.
- Poly-L-Lactic Acid biostimulators — gradually triggers your own collagen production over several months. Results can last up to 2 years.
The Process
A filler session at Panache is methodical, comfortable, and tailored entirely to your facial anatomy.
Dr. Ankit analyses your facial proportions, bone structure, and areas of volume loss. He discusses your goals and creates a customised treatment plan.
The treatment area is cleansed and a topical numbing cream is applied. Most premium fillers also contain built-in lidocaine for comfort.
Using fine needles or blunt-tip cannulas (which reduce bruising), the filler is placed at precise depths. The entire process takes 30–45 minutes.
Dr. Ankit moulds and adjusts the filler for symmetry. You'll see your results immediately and can provide feedback in real time.
Aftercare & Recovery
Recovery from dermal fillers is straightforward. Most patients return to their normal activities the same day.
- Mild swelling and tenderness at injection sites is normal and resolves within 2–3 days
- Avoid touching, pressing, or massaging the treated area for 24 hours
- Skip intense exercise, alcohol, and hot environments for 24–48 hours
- Sleep on your back for the first night to avoid displacement
- Any minor bruising can be concealed with makeup after 24 hours
- Final results settle within 1–2 weeks as swelling fully resolves
We recommend avoiding blood thinners, aspirin, fish oil, and vitamin E supplements for one week before treatment to minimise bruising.
